I know it’s not a 4-letter word; however, sometimes the word “exercise” sounds like work (which is a 4-letter word), so I like to call it “movement” instead.
What is movement?
It’s any activity that’s fun for you and gets your body moving! Your body is made to move. Therefore, movement is actually a type of fuel for your body, just like food. It stimulates and generates energy and good moods, plus it’s a fun way to get outside and connect with old and new friends.
What Motivates You to Move?
How about a fitness tracker? A fitness tracker can be a great motivational tool to help you meet those healthy New Years resolutions that you may have set for yourself. In this post I want to share some in-depth research on fitness trackers that I thought might be a useful guide.
It seems like everywhere you look these days, someone has a fitness tracker on their wrist. Popularity for these devices has skyrocketed for anyone looking to better monitor their health and activity levels. But it’s easy to get lost in the hype with all the options out there.
That’s why the research team at Reviews.com spent 6 months testing and evaluating 87 fitness trackers currently on the market. They evaluated everything from sensor accuracy and battery life, to band style and comfort. They also personally tested their finalists to come up with their top three picks: best under $100, best heart-rate monitoring, and best heart-rate monitoring + GPS.

Add this movement to your day by starting with a regular 10 minute appointment – for you that might be first thing in the morning, or at lunch, or after work.
